Any shader injector that uses a custom d3d9.dll will conflict with autolink’s injector. That’s just how the cookie crumbles, i’m afraid.
Also, if anyone is interested in trying something different, i’ve been using GemFX (for DOA as well as other games).
I use copious amounts of bloom (both to mask the crappy textures as well as make some of the effects “pop” a bit more).

I’ve uploaded my preset as well. Bloom is regulated by the Gaussian filter shader.
