One of the things I like to do in Fallout 4 is to capture lightning strikes. I love the lighting and shadows when that happens. It can be very difficult to do, however, though I turn on bullet time to help a bit. The following photo is an example of one where I just missed the lighting strike.
The split second after a lightning strike the game is darkened a bit with extra shadows as your character’s eyes adapt. If you move the camera, the game has your eyes adapt, and you lose the darkened effect. So in the above capture, I could not move the camera to better frame the shot, but I liked it anyway.
